The The members of LCRD will be holding a marathon on roller skates (a Skate-a-thon) and members of the league will skate the equivalent of 26.2 miles as our first fundraiser of 2010. The event will take place on Saturday, February 6th from 4 -6 p.m. at the Cascade Indoor Sports center on the corner of Empire and High Desert in Bend.
In addition to raising funds for our league we also are committed to raising awareness and funds for local community groups and charities; therefore, 25% of your donation will benefit the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
